Saints Premiers – Top of the League Table Week 7

The Saints Premier team is proud to be on top of the Nafa League Log table after week 7 of the league fixtures, with a game in hand that was postponed. This was a vital double header weekend to play catch up with the first match on Saturday at home, with both the Reserve & Premier teams winning Wolves FC big. Reserves won 4-1 and the Premier team won 8-0. This big win for premier team took them top of the log with a better goal difference to Blackpool F.C equal on 13 points.

The second match on Sunday for Saints FC was the 1st Premier league match on the new Gelvandale Turf. The reserves kicked off with convincing win of 1-4 over Glenville Celtic. The Reserves team is currently 2nd on the Reserves table equal on points with a 4 goal difference. Saints Premier team started off the 1st half very well against Glenville and led the 1st half half 0-2. Glenville had very brave fighting spirit not making easy for Saints with the final score being 2-3 Win for Saints and making sure they remain top of the table with 1 point ahead and with 1 game in hand.
