Back to Back NAFA Mala-Moodaley KO Champs

The Saints Premier team of 2023 made some history for the club becoming the 1st Saints team to win the NAFA League Mala-Moodaley Knock-out Cup back to back. The only other team to achieve a back to back win was Glenville celtic (2001 & 2002). 

We are very proud of all the players and management for all the hard work, dedication and discipline throughout this knock-out challenge. Saints Premiers faced Fairview Rovers in the finals, that was played for the 1st time on the Gelvandale Astro. Saints players was on a role and in fighting spirit, making it 3-0 going into half-time and then sealing the game off with a 5-0. Thank you and well done to our opponents Fairview Rovers.

Captain Lyle Hardenberg and Coach Moenier Safedien played yet again a vital role in leadership, to steer the team not only to this back to back achievement, but also making it a Treble of Trophies for the season. The Saints premier team can be very proud of this achievement (A week later after losing one of our Senior players, Chad Jozaffe in a car accident – This Match/Win/Trophy was dedicated for him – MHDSRIP).
