SaintsFC Under 13 team participated in the NAFA U/13 Build It Tournament 2022. The tournament consisted of 6 Groups (A-F) with 4 teams per Group. SaintsFC was in Group C and won all the group games convincingly and ended up 1st in the Group with 20 goals scored and non conceded. They advanced to Knock-out stages the following week. The boys won their quarter final with the full time score of 5-0 VS Apex united. They advanced to the semi-finals and played Rangers FC. The boys came from a goal behind to make the final score 1 -1 and they went straight into penalty shootouts – This was like a Easter Tournament 2022 replay for the teams because they also met each other in that semi-final match, that also went into sudden death and Saints winning.
The final match arrived and they once again met Fairview Rovers. The full time score was goalless and went straight into penalty shootout. Fairview Rovers goalkeeper was the hero at the end, keeping 2 of the Saints boys penalties out. This was once again a great experience for the boys, but was very sad they could make it through to the Play offs.
