Saints senior reserve team 2024 won the Nafa League 2024 in back-to-back style. The first year the two streams were re-introduced in the Northern Areas Football senior league. Saints reserve kept the momentum of the previous year and ended top of the stream with a game in hand. The two top teams of the streams ends up playing 2 playoff matches for the league cup and Saints faced Park United in the playoffs.
Park United reserve team came with a mission as the premier team was also playing league playoffs and aiming for back-to-back. We went down 0-1 in the 1st match held on Saturday, and had to win the 2nd match with a two goal deficit. The Saints boys had a good fighting spirit for 2nd match and overcame the challenge with style in dying moments of the match to win the league. Thank you to Park United for making it a very good 2 match playoff. Well done to all the Saints players, management and supporters for making this another memorable season. We all Champions.
